Classic Glazed Donuts

One of my favorite deserts I have made during this time was the classic glazed donut. For the donut I combined 1 1/2 cups of milk, 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 oz of yeast, 1 stick of butter, 3 eggs, 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, 5 cups of flour, and I used 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil shortening for frying. I then fry the donuts for 45 seconds on each side. Next, I made the glaze. I combined 3 cups of powdered sugar, 1 cup of dry milk powder, 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup of hot water. I dunked the donuts in the glaze and then enjoyed!
